Get To Know: Odacité An Autumn On The World

Meet Odacité An Autumn On The World. What's so special about this gorgeous oil? Well, I'll get in to that. But first let me tell you a little about Odacité. The entire line is fresh. Fresher than fresh. This is because purity is the key to potency. When your products have gone rancid, they no longer benefit your skin - in fact, they might be causing more harm than good. Freshness really does matter. But so do results. Luckily for us, Odacité is no stranger to science. In fact, An Autumn On The World contains a next generation, oil-soluble form of Vitamin C. Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is 5 times more potent than your average Vitamin C.

What does this mean for your skin? Plenty - Vitamin C boosts collagen production, combats brown spots, and most importantly, imparts a megawatt glow. The kind of glow that makes you take a second look in the mirror. And smile. Yes, it's that good. But this face oil packs more than Vitamin C. It contains a host of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants courtesy of pomegranate, açai berry, passion fruit, and red raspberry. In addition, it boasts one of my favorite carrier oils, meadowfoam seed oil. Meadowfoam is rich in fatty acids and lends stability to oil blends (providing further protection against rancidity). But the star of this show is really the wild carrot seed oil. This oil is sourced from a small French village where it is pressed by hand in the same way that it has been done for over two centuries. Very impressive.

This oil feels more like a serum to me. It is slightly thicker, but absorbs very easily leaving not even the slightest trace of oiliness. It is perfect as the first step in your morning routine. (It's best to use Vitamin C products during the day because they also provide protection against UV damage.) Expect a visible difference in brightness when using this serum. So much so that this oil might even spark an obsession. It has with me!
