From The Archives: An Introduction To Indah Organics

For those of you who miss the original Seed to Serum blog, I’m pulling vintage posts from the archives to introduce you to the lines I now sell in the shop and the reasons that I fell in love with them. Enjoy!

I can barely contain my excitement about Indah Organics. This line is an absolute treasure. I have tried numerous renditions of perfume (oil, spray, etc.), but never a balm. I have to say that I am in love with this method of perfume application. It feels utterly romantic to smooth the scented balm over my wrists, on my neck, and behind my knees. But these perfume balms offer more than just splendid application, they smell OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING. Sensual. Exotic. Captivating. And I am talking about all three. Never have I come across a line where I have loved every single perfume offering.

Dewi is a spicy, feminine mix of neroli, jasmine, ylang-ylang, patchouli, and vetiver. It is perfect for women seeking that classic floral scent enveloped in a cocoon of warmth and mystery.

Zen is every bit as grounding and earthy as the name suggests. It combines nutmeg, ginger, fennel, cardamom, clove bud, cinnamon, and frankincense. The result is a universally appealing scent meant to create "a sense of inner peace and harmony."

Lalu has been my personal favorite lately. I reach for it multiple times throughout the day because I find the woody, citrusy scent to be comforting and calming. This gorgeous perfume balm combines ginger, cyprus, lemon, orange, basil, cinnamon, and vetiver. The inclusion of basil and vetiver alone is enough to make me a fan for life.

No review of Indah would be complete without mentioning the rich, nourishing body butters. I adore Sari - a soothing base of cocoa butter and coconut oil blended with patchouli, basil, fennel, Australian sandalwood, and lemon essential oils. The buttery texture melts easily when smoothed over your skin leaving behind a light, oily finish. A little goes a long way with this butter - don't go overboard!

If all of this wasn't enough, Indah also offers their very own virgin coconut oil. Coat your skin, your hair, your vegetables, whatever! Coconut oil is perfect for just about everything.
